What is Shock and Awe
but our form of terrorism?
Are we so different?
Or do we just prefer to think so?
When kids lie dead
Cold, bloody and stiff
Are they aware you are liberators?
Do they know the diff?
Oh no, we have NOBLE goals to justify their woes
So go ask a terrorist about his goals
Hell talk of Freedom and Justice
And why he fights his foe
Are we so very different?
Or just prefer to think so?
Well, we use armies and legitimate weapons!
Well wouldnt they if they had them too?
Does this make of them a coward or of you?
Wasnt what we have just seen
done for the best reason?
And is this a formula
for everyones season?
Why kid ourselves here
Are our motives truly decent?
Well motivated' terrorism kills
From cross or from crescent
