Opposites Attract

Opposites Attract

I adore you from your head to your toe
I am crazy for you as you may know
Youre the first I think about when I get out of bed
And it continues like that since youre stuck in my head

Youre my love youre my heart
Love is nothing when were apart
When you cry Ill give you a little cheer
Strengthening you while I wipe that one tear

Grab my hand and say its fine
Look at me and say youre mine
Embrace me and Ill embrace you back
Squeeze me with your love my back wont crack

Lets take a walk just you and me
Talking until our tongues fall free
Kiss me when the time is right
Just dont worry I dont bite

If you miss me and I know you do
Close your eyes and think of me and you
Im crazy for you and thats a fact
But hey you know opposites attract

Perhaps a modicum clichéd, and your meter could use a bit of tuning, still above average I'd say.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
