The Words I Wish I Could Say

Words I can not find,
for these feelins I can not hide.
I want you by my side,
as: My girlfriend, My Lover, My Bride.

Yet it seems clouds of the past blind you,
to see im not the same person i was when working beside you.
But its always just words,
no chance to prove im no cur.
Yet it falls on deaf ears,
blind to seeing what is here,
A man who loves and adores you and wants you near.

No Words seem to express,
everything I wish to impress.
So Many years and still no chance,
to make amends for the past.

I wish i could find the words to say 'sorry',
with out it seeming like some big folly.
Wishing i knew how much or how little i should say,
about the thinkg i keep locked away.

So, I shall leave you with this:
I shall answer any question you have,
with truth and honesty in each hand,
and the eternal hope that one day,
I will be your man.
