Im not afraid to speak my mind.
Or share my every thought.
Im not afraid, and will not hide.
No matter what the cost.
At first I was a little girl,
Who did not understand.
That no one else could rule my world,
Or change the way I am.
Why should I pretend to be,
A girl I know Im not?
Why cant no one ever see,
The insides worth a shot.
Judging by the outer looks,
Will never let you see,
All the things you really should.
The outsides just a screen.
Ill be the girl who sits alone,
Without a single friend.
Even though, at least I know,
Im true, and dont pretend.
Ill wear the cloths I like the best,
And not the ones approved.
Who cares if Im not like the rest.
To me, myself, Im true.
