Childhood friends, growing up side by side.
Didnt know than, all the dangers in life.
Curious children just looking for thrills.
Didnt know than, about violence that kills.
Children whod play without no cares at all.
Didnt know than that their courage might fall.
Children whod laugh at the smallest of things.
Didnt know than, all the troubles life brings.
Children whod smile without any cause.
Didnt know than, about heartache and loss.
Children who wished upon many of stars.
Didnt know than, about living with scars.
Children whod dig in the dirt just for fun.
Didnt know than, about weapons and guns.
Children who loved to play hide and go seek.
Didnt know than, about sadness and grief.
Children who wanted to grow up so fast.
Didnt know than that the good times dont last.
Children who made up a world of their own.
Didnt know than that the real world is cold.
Childhood friends growing up side by side.
Didnt know than, they should cherish those times.
