Nothing
Some people bear it all,
Some people bear nothing.
Some people want fancy things,
Some people just want something.
Youve got a cool car,
Ive got a small bike.
Youve got nice things,
While Ive got nothing.
You say your lifes dreadful,
I say my lifes pleasant.
You say youve got it all,
I say youre just coddled.
Your lifes like an apple,
Dangling in a tree.
The rest of us sit here,
Wishing we could be in that orchard tree.
You see theres a big
Difference between you and me.
After all you possess everything,
While I bear nothing.

Interesting poem. I like the apple dangling off the tree image. You describe and compare what having nothing is like well. Good writing. I look forward to reading more!
