The trees like dreaming spires appear, The sun beats down upon me here, I lay upon the dew wet grass and think of the future mixed with the past.
Lovers stroll hand in hand, and roll upon the gleaming ground, They giggle and laugh as the day creeps past, And the sand moves through the hour-glass.
I hear a child speaking loud, As I stare up at vapour-trail clouds, At the lake they fish for sport and silently wait until their catch is caught.
A man removes his shirt to bathe, On this warmly lit April day, Spring has sprung through winter's haze, And summer appears to be on its way.

A refreshing read about a wonderful time of the year when life comes into the fold blossoming bright. Vibrant imagery in your words. Well done
