You conveyed your feelings well.
I know this feeling well but if you think about it...in time, was it truly a friendship if the person could terminate it so easily?
I fully understand how you would feel like this but I hope as time passes you'll see if they were truly a friend worth having.
Real friends stick by you, flaws and all.

I agree with Tim. Friends worth having, won't let you
down. Or ever make you wonder if they care. In four
short lines, you've captured the sorrow of loss so very
well. But the heart is an amazingly resilient organ. ;)
