Summer is spectacular; best season of the year,
I head outside, its hot outside, I cant believe its here!!!
The swimming pools are opening; the grass is growing green,
The flowers are now blooming, its the best sight that Ive seen!
Butterflies are everywhere, the sky is baby blue,
On the beach the sand is hot, the water still is cool.
Kids are running everywhere; excitement in their eyes
School is out, the bugs are out, all different shapes and kinds.
They march around the picnic basket, hoping for a crumb,
after theyve waited a while, they march on in for some.
Summer is spectacular; best season of the year,
I head outside, its hot outside, I cant believe its here!!!
