Season's Spectacular!

As the seasons come and go,
I cant help wanting to know
Why they all are different,
And why their differences do so show
Like in the winter, when its chilly
its so cold it drives me silly
Everything is brown and white
The trees are dark, the snow so bright.
Or in the summer, when its hot
Some stay insideId rather not!
Id rather go outside and play
Play in the sun throughout the day!
But in the fall, its wind so strong
It blows down trees leaves all day long.
Soon enough, its time to rake,
I cant believe how long it takes!
And in the spring, new things happen
Birds are chirping, flowers blossom
Snow; its all going away!
Warmer temperatures make my day!
As the seasons come and go,
I cant help wanting to know
Why they all are different,
And why their differences do so show

| I love how you combined all the seasons in this poem, and described how unique each of them are. Another well written poem. |

| I'm sorry but, if you want to read a truly FANTASTIC poem ....read "When we two parted" by Byron or Gordon .... Both are the same person. I've read so many poets in my 60 years and not a one rated their own poem as fantastic. Di Vinci, Michael Angelo, or so many artist who are truly fantastic, never said their work was great. Your poem is just that an average poem and I'm not saying that to be mean or hurt you. I won't rate it because I don't want to bring your rating down .... Read the poem I told you and then look anywhere to see if Byron rated his work as fantastic. You're like me and so many others here ....average....! WRITE ON ...! (But let others sing your praises.....Believe me ...they will let you know what they think..) This is just my opinion so don't stop writing. |
