The love you told me about
Was nothing compared
To the love you showed me
Or the way you cared
I know that you love me
Youve showed me so much
It lifts my heart
Every time we touch
In a town so small
I cant believe I found you
You have me a life
That felt so new
I loved you so much
My heart wanted to leap
I hoped that I was someone
You would always want to keep
You told me I was right
And that I was your forever
When I asked you if youd leave me
All you said was never
So now I will wait
And see what weve got
And now that I see you
I really know we have a lot
