The start

Contributed by 619Prisoner on Wednesday, 28th April 2010 @ 07:45:07 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I have lived this life alone
waiting for so long
falling into a prison,
my happiness was long gone.

Giving up on on my romantic dreams
of what i thought was true
doing things just because
until i found you...

My Persian princess
my dear Shirin
I can feel your heart beat,
romantic feelings raise again.

I thought that part of me died
when I allowed its funeral to pass
accepting a life with no spark
wondering how this could last

Shirin came, with a message for help
and i donned my Armour once more
to be that man,
that she should adore.

I will endure the pains of time
the sacrifice of distance
the desire of more
for i shall take my stance

I have not touched your face
nor have i felt your soft skin
but my soul yearns for your love
so that i can be alive again.

No matter where we may be
know that my love will only grow
and i will chase after you
no matter how slow

please my Shirin,
i will work harder each day
the canal shall be build
i will find away

wait for me,
think of me
want me..
I am yours.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
