Suicide
|
she penned them in her diary the day before she died about her thoughts and feelings and all the things shed hide
on waves of washed out paper that left open the book with smears of blue frustration that no one had mistook
the meaning on the pages so painful from the start it quivered in the body and sunk inside the heart
the things she couldn't say in life are said in death the reason for her action in this thing that she left
but now it is a mystery from all the things that fell but though the words have vanished the salty pages tell

The things she couldn/'/t say
In life are said in death.
Powerful and memorable statement from a poem that encompasses both. |
