Immortal love

Contributed by eastboyez on Wednesday, 5th May 2010 @ 02:53:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

He was a servant, a worker , a peasant
She was a queen, royalty from heavens

He used to see her, watch her and stalk her
To cherish the memories for the centuries after
Coz he was blessed with an eternal disaster

His blood was cold and his life would not end
But the immortal would wither, would die every second
Coz he was in love, she was a dream
Too far from him , his love, his queen

She had a king,a worthless swine
But he was a royal with a life so divine

The boy was a slave but his curse was his present
He could slaughter the king in minutes and seconds

But he didnt coz it would bring a tear to her eye
A guy who drank blood, a tear made him shy

The girl was no fool she knew of the boy
He'd stare for hours without a word why
He was dark, was quiet, a mysterious guy

But his eyes were so human they gave him away
Coz they said the things the boy wouldnt say

They said he loved her and she loved him the same
But it was forbidden, a crime, a shame

Their love was too strong to hide and conceal
The word spread like fire, a vampire and the queen !

The lovers were captured and brought to the king
His love was to die and he was to watch
He wanted to fight but couldnt pick up a rock
Coz he had given up drinking in a bid to be human
His love was so warm,a mortal, a woman

His love was savaged, raped and then murdered
But he was so weak,so fragile, had surrendered

The king did not know that pain was his power
he drank again and blood was to shower

Love had its vengeance but he was forlorn
The Immortal died at the break of dawn.

So tragically romantic. A beautifully written poem.
