When we arrived at the city by the sea, There awaited such beauty that surprised me, A villa with a veranda and a spectacular view, Over looking the ocean and the sky so blue, The endless waters that in the distance, Sky and sea became one in an instant, Sail boats were scattered in this new world, Out on the sea with the sails unfurled, The sun casting it's brightness so glistening, We were mesmerized and stared as we listened, Just below a market lined the large street, Offering the tourist anything to buy or to eat.
The beauty was so tantalizing and carefree, But I was even happier that you had come with me, Hurriedly we changed into our summer wear, And went to explore the magnificent affair, Holding hands we whispered in surprised awe, At this gorgeous place and what we saw, As night fall came and we returned to our room, We made love on the veranda beneath the moon, Looking out to the sea where moonbeams danced, Thank you my love for this one chance, To visit this romantic place with me, In a villa with a veranda in a city by the sea.
