IT IS RAINING AGAIN I CAN HEAR IT FROM UNDER THE COVERS OF MY HIDE AWAY
IT IS THE DARKNESS THE FIRST THING THAT STRIKES ME AS I OPEN MY EYES DARKNESS, ALONE
MANY STEPS FROM THIS ROOM TO FETCH MY MORNING COFFEE ALONE, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I MADE THAT TRIP ALONE
I HAVE IT DOWN TO A TEE MORNING COFFEE AND ME
GOOD MORNING AMERICA ON T.V. THEN ITS REGIS AND KATHIE LEE CAN'T FORGET THE LADIES OF THE VIEW JEOPARDY AFTER THAT
SURPRISE I CAN ANSWER A FEW ITS AFTERNOON, RAINING STILL O.K. WITH ME I WILL JUST TRACE MY FOOTSTEPS BACK THE WAY I STARTED MY DAY
UNDER THE COVERS OF MY HIDEAWAY IN THE DARK ALONE.

This is so horrible (the exerience not the poem). I have felt like this. I felt totally alone and like I have nothing to look forward to and no-one to talk to. The poem expresses the feelings of hopelessness wonderfully. Great piece of work.

A super poem expressing low, low, low
i, for one, love the rain. Being alone (for
a while) is OK...I can write a poem...
But, too long???

sometimes rainy days are refreshing, to rest, and sometimes they are bummers...thats when you need to grab a bright purple umbrella and get out there!
