insomniac

Dragging my feet along, Silky cold carresses my body. Pillow remembers my head, But I disrupt the grove. The downy encasing carries me off.
Darkness turns to light in my head, Swirly thoughts turn bright, Reality fleeting.
Dark flashes, The balmy imagination scared away. Some noise, inaudible, Pulls me from my perch.
The dark, Sharp, Cuts me.
Thoughts of what might be, Telling me to slip back.
While monster's breath, Ice Upon my unsuspecting toes.
