I can hear my heart beating
I can feel myself cry
It feels really good
To let the tears run from my eye

The second that you left
Is the second that I died
I only had one question
And that is to ask why

Why did God take you?
And leave my life so sad
Are you walking around in heaven?
Do I have the right to be mad?

Mom said you had demons
That were taking over your life
Those demons made you leave
Leave your children and your wife

My life feels so empty
Without my dad to come and say
I love you baby girl
I wish life wasnt this way

Daddy as you walk
Right through heavens gate
I hope you know Ill be there soon
And you know I wont be late
