I Will Make It Up

I took a look back on the things I did
I took a look back on the things I said
Even though I cant really remember most of it
Sometimes I wished I could take it all away
I really didnt mean to be such a pain
I really didnt mean to get in the way
All I ever wanted is to save the day
But then again Im not always there to make it okay
I guess Ill make it up, oh yeah Ill make it up to you
I know I promise you the world, I know I promise you diamonds and pearls,
But there isnt really much to give nor there is to say
So my only hope is for those words to ease the pain
And maybe, just maybe tomorrow wont be the same as yesterday
But if it is, then you best believe I wont give up
I am going to make it up, and this time I promise I wont mess up
Because Ill make it up to you.
