When we first met she was a sight unseen She was in a bottle, I was just a teen I'd take her out at night and we'd have some fun but she was never meant to be my only one She became my courage when I was afraid I thought when she was with me I had it made One day I got to know her in another way When I sat down at a table where she made me pay I began to need her but she didn't need me Man was I blind to what the others could see I know I'm not the only one she's caused a lot of pain She takes away everything while running through your vain No matter how much you try it's hard to walk away Knowing she's in your head and coming back someday Some think they can play with her, think their going to win But I tell you she's a killer, you can call her addiction

A brilliant piece of writing. And you couldnt be more correct. I know exactly what you are saying here. Great job and keep up the good work.

I enjoyed this write!
At first I was wondering which addiction you were talking about, as she comes in different forms.
I smiled when I realized the ending summed the whole thing up for me, and gods is it true. |
