Give me one reason to love you like that.
Give me one reason. Its all that I ask.
shouldnt be hard now, Ill give you some time.
Has to be true though. It cant be a lie.
What have you done, that has proven your love?
What have you done to deserve any trust?
Dont think to hard though, youll cause yourself pain.
Tell me of moments when love wasnt faked.
Tell me, please tell me, of things you deserve.
You say that its love, but my love wasnt earned.
Please Im still waiting, Ive just got to know,
All of the moments our love truly glowed.
Confusions a line that has formed on your brow.
Having some trouble? I guess I'll help out.
Never a moment was love truly shared.
Ive realized that now, while back than I was scared.
Scared to find truth that your love was a lie.
Now that Ive grown though, I wont be so blind.
Ill not walk around with a false sense of hope.
Ill not be a puppet you get to control.
Ive given you time now, much more than deserved.
Give me a reason to love such a jerk.
Im sick of the waiting. Its over we're done.
If it makes you feel better, the reason? theres none.

Oh this was superb!!!! BRAVO! for your bravery and truthful thought! This could have been me about 15 years ago........I was married to a Jerk with a capital "J"
