Cold are the hands of Loneliness, Smothering me in it's embrace While its fingertips explore my body----
Carefully it examines me like a surgeon, Dissecting every inch of my form While I writhe in pain and discomfort---- No anesthesia to be found.

This was creepy (in a good way, of course). The intimate description was such a weird way to come at the concept. You wrote something unique :) Nicely done. |

I generally try not to read the other comments because I wish to form my own opinions without any other influence. However, I find myself agreeing completely with what fielding88 said because I found myself, this time, also reading his comment.
Me really likes this poem even though it seems really sad. |

similar to the concept of how supposedly "mind, heart, body and soul are one".... don't u feel like u and loneliness are one sometimes? well that's what i got after reading this, esp. from reading the 1st stanza... indeed this was something different and i enjoyed it
take care
