This sorrow and agony, lengthy rather terse I'm acknowledgably mutilated in your darkest times Although you're quite oblivious, at least not completely careless I'm admonished of my doings, but I see no wrong Or am I such an instigator; A gall? Forgive my undiscovered bitterness of which you dwell upon Regardless of your ill mentality, I remain present to sooth your suffering
At your greatest you are my band aid, my recovery Your smile pulls me out of your punishing abyss I long for this love, so kind and caring Even though, us, it's not meant to be Yet we still prevail? Oh how daring
We had our times of separation But of course, it's an expectation to strive and struggle, a better world for us So far so good, I'd always say But hopefully we'll see better days
