So it is all over
Your mind is clear
Your soul floats away without fear
Your time is up
You feel no pain
But you will never be here again
Is there a sorry?
Do you show remorse?
For all the hurt you have caused
What you did was evil
What you did was wrong
And that memory has never gone
You had no regrets
You were so cold
To everybody it clearly showed
You were locked away for life
Locked away in a cell
Everyone wanted you to rot in hell
The clock has ticked away
And forty years have passed
Your life is at an end, at last
You never said anything
You never even cried
Even until the day you died
At the gates of heaven
Sheltered by an angel's wing
You stand there with no feeling
And think back to the time that you had sinned
Isn't this a place for the good?
Not a place for the misunderstood?
Here at the gates of heaven
You pray for them to forgive you...
