Time caught me by the hand And took me down a hill I tried to turn and run away But part lost my free will
It showed me pain showed me sorrow Said this will come tomorrow If you dont climb back up that hill you'll Have to beg steal or borrow
I put my hands around times neck And squeezed all so tight I said you only exist to fill the pockets of the rich man But not me to night
So cast away your clocks And weapons of the cogged machine Take your life by the hand And do with it as you please

I love your personification of time, and you did it so beautifully that unless one knows what a clock is, one will actually think you are referring to someone you had an encounter with.
i don't know why every poem that has rhyming lines tickles my fancy, but i just love pieces with rhymes. do i mean i love your poem? of course YES.
