Beyond my window at a point Where a stars thought is deeper than darkness, A huge meditating moon brushes the sky And below each hillside, valley and mountain Dwarfs my very kingdom. With a sly glance a cloud weeps uncertainty Casting the planets out far beyond silence. And here at my window, alone in my own lonliness, My minds eye invades the sky, moon and stars Until at last with a shattering drum roll of thunder, I stumble upon this dark premonition. Moon vanishes, The great jaws of the sky open, stars are swallowed And the world ends.
