Shattered and lonely within my own heart.
I never once thought that youd tear me apart.
And here I am fighting with all that I have,
To think of the good, and erase all the bad.
The past is not led though, it cant be erased.
I live with my choices and all my mistakes.
How could I fall for the lies that you spoke?
I was the pun to your cruel heartless joke.
Something you wanted until it was yours.
I was that object, yeah I was that girl.
Needless to say, I did not have a clue.
All of your lies I believed were the truth.
Maybe Im hopeless, and cant find a guy.
A guy who is truthful, and never tells lies.
God only knows if this guy does exists.
The skys filled with stars that have heard of this wish.
Though its my faith, that is battered and bruised.
I know somewhere out there, theres love that is true.
Though I cant see him, I know theres a guy,
Wishing on stars like Im wishing tonight.
And yeah just like me, its his faith that is bruised.
But I know the saying, that love heals all wounds.
Though I dont know when or where our paths cross
I know that Ill wait. Cause true loves worth the cost.

this got me feeling a bit mushy inside, which is often rare i might add.
i believe you're doing the right thing unlike those other loose women out there.
