Still Im waiting Suzanne for a goodbye or hello. Ive got so many questions and things I need to know. Every girl that could be you, I do a double take. Or the smell of orange perfume can make my quiet shake
Still Im wondering Suzanne if the city took you whole. Or are you left in pieces, so I scan the streets we roamed. Once I had your number so I call but youre not there. And no one can remember. And many just dont care.
Still Im hoping Suzanne that Ill see you on the train. Or sitting on the boardwalk, where we sat in pouring rain. Like the smoke that swirled around you, youre gone, I dont know where. Still Im waiting Suzanne, Im always waiting here.

For a moment this reminded me of that movies Dear John. But anyways, I loved your poems. It's really adorable and sweet. Almost a tad bit sad, but its really nice. I enjoyed it very much :) I love the last two lines especially! Way to end it with a bang! Thats what really did it for me. Way to go :) |
