I Cry

Contributed by thebadguy9999 on Tuesday, 1st June 2010 @ 10:58:22 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

I cry because the Lord has been so good to me
He gave his precious life so we all could be free
He took on all our sin and still defends us to this day
That's why I give him glory in every word I say
Jesus died for us,He took our burdens through his pain
If you do not love the Lord,Your life is all in vain
God created all mankind to bring glory to his name
Not for us to die in sin, this life is not a game
I cry because i know the Lord is coming back real soon
Pack your bags, prepare your hearts, listen for that trumpet tune
I cry for my lost loved ones,They know that you are real
They know their souls are not ready but will not surrender to your will
Lord why will they not listen, please tell me what to do
Bless me with the words to say so they will give their life to you
Satan has them blinded,They're stuck knee deep in sin
But if they call upon your name this battle they can win
I pray that they will listen,I know they hear your voice
I pray your voice gets louder and they make you their first choice
They all have heard your word and been told the end is near
They seem like they're not worried and in you they have no fear
I pray that you will guide them and bring them to repentance
For the road that they are traveling is their souls death sentence
Some of them have lived for you,Lord bring them back again
So that they can share your joy,In Jesus name amen

I will also cry this prayer, for my family, friends, and co-workers, for surely this is
a cry heard by God, and if we know that He hears us we know that we have the things that we ask of Him...very-very-very nice write...
