You say good morning
with day in your eyes
and a part of me slowly dies
isnt it midnight?
Your kiss said good morning
with day in your touch
Ive never ever hurt this much
isnt it midnight?
Your window view says good morning
with day in you hug
and you stab me with every shoulder shrug
isnt it midnight?
Your gentle smile said good morning
with day in your voice
broken mirrors reflecting my bad choice
isnt it midnight?
Your tears said good bye to morning
and you waved away day
your lips dont move but I hear everything you say
why do I love midnight?
because if you're still here at midnight I know you're here to stay
it marks the beginning and end of a day
and when things are silent dark and still it feels right
and thats why i love midnight.

I really love this, especially the last stanza. Good job :)
(btw 3rd stanza I think it's supposed to be 'day in 'your' hug') |

| I liked your use of imagery in this poem. However, you might want to consider working on the flow of your poetry etc. If polished this could be a really strong piece. Take care and keep on writing! ;) |
