On the horizon
All I see is darkness
But inside of me, inside my soul
My light burns bright
Sounds of terror
Death around every corner
Will there be a tomorrow? Regardless,
My light burns bright
The future seems so distant
Yet its still in my grasp
You are what I have to live for;
What makes my light burn bright
The thoughts of you
Always get me through
Knowing Ill see you again
Makes my light burn bright
Others have given up hope,
Their inner light fades
My hope stays high and strong
And my light burns bright
Friends have perished,
Gone forever from this life
My heart aches for their family
Yet my light burns bright
We will meet again
This time I will stay
The thought of that moment
Makes my light burn bright
I patiently count the days
Til Im home with you again
My inner light burns bright
All because of you
