Please don't let me go
There are some things I need to know
Like, did you care?
Has your life been fair?
Through these sad, sad days
I'll stay with you always
Please don't let me go
You have more friends than foes
Keep hold of my hand
And I'll try to understand
Through these sad,sad days
I'll stay with you always
You close your eyes, you're at peace
I know you are safe, at least
Tears start to roll
Tears start to flow
I prayed...
You would never let me go
You don't know how much I miss you so
But in the end we fall
As time gets us all
Through the years and days
You'll stay with me always
