prostitution
institutions

you should have seen
what she became-
penniless jailbate
bloody thighs
swollen eyes
fight. forget. bleed.
you never thought
or even knew
the love that she would need
high on drugs
killed by thugs
fight. forget. death.
despite the abuse
and years of misuse
she loved you with every breath
