So long my friend
I wish we could spend more time together
It's going to be hard
But it'll get easier day by day
There's so many things I'm holding back that I wish I had the courage to say
I'll hold on to the memories we shared
When I knew you absolutely cared
As the years will go by and time will past
I hope you and me is a memory that will forever last
If anything just remember I was the one who stuck by you through thick and thin
In the end I didn't think SHE would win
But I forgive you sincerely
And through everything I will always love you dearly
But for now its time to say goodbye
So...So long my friend.

Nicely written! This piece has a great deal of emotion. Closure is indeed a necessity to feel.
