Creeps upon you under the cover of night Implores with puppy eyes not to fight Tricks you into muttering him an invite Imprisons your soul away from the light Soon he will become your frowned upon friend Carried with you each day until its end It points out your doom that will surely impend To make you succumb, for your will to bend
Soon you no longer exist Until you try to resist So slam the door in his face And remove all of his trace Only then will you be free To live life as you want it to be
