What do i know of angels?
i'm only a mortal man,
and yet here you are
my wish on a star
according to destiny's
plan.
What do i know of perfection?
but that which myne eyes can see,
for in any artistic collection
a picasso you would be.
To what do i owe?
the gift of you
appearing in my meager life,
relinquishing all
an angel can do
merely to be
my wife.
All that i wanted
was someone to love
a hearts purest form
of request,
then i met you
who gave meaning to
the phrase,
nothing short of the best.
So what do i know of angels?
that i should have to explain,
when loving you so an angel
i know as a rainbow it's self,
knows the rain.
Oh what do i know of anything?
be it angels or not,
when looking at you
can i not say it's true?
heaven,
was what i got.
