Sirens blare
Lights scrutinize the land
POLICE! With Intel
Such as a metal
Upon a lintel
What are they after?
I grab a pair of Binoculars
Scoping through the bushes
Looking, searching
For what?
I ask what are they looking for?
A thief, says the distant voice
So distant like the shores of Walvis Bay
From the Kalahari
Coast to coast all the same
It was a voice so distant
Why ask I?
A girl beautiful creature of the day robbed
The only thing that meant the world to her
So true! Like the needle is on the stool
Stitching a perfect form to make it whole
He STOLE! Heart, hearts of man
Hearts of bravery, love of hearts
Blood of hearts. People bleed
Because of broken hearts
Now she bleeds, he steals
If only he could return
Turn back the hands of his watch and path
Return to make whole
Return to give more life
More peace, peace made for
