Through those angel eyes you see your freedom
You have strength and pride and you have no fear
But there are some people who
Will never believe it's true
Until they look at you
Through those angel eyes
Through those angel eyes God is your master
You will live a life of which he would be proud
You care for your family
You even help the needy
Whatever makes others happy
Through those angel eyes
When you feel that you can't go on any longer
When you feel that it becomes too much
You turn to the people you love the most
And feel the warmth from their every touch
When someone needs a shoulder to cry on
When others are weak you are strong
You've seen it all
Through those angel eyes
Through those angel eyes you can see an ending
You must step aside for those who are young
You go so quietly
Leaving behind your family
From your eyes you cry the tears
As you remember those years
But you'll still see them
Through those angel eyes
