I've tried to forget but your always on my mind
and I've tried to find
A way to let you know
that I need you so
and that I long for the scent of your golden hair
as you lay your head on my chest without a care
the taste of your lips as I caress you tight
surrounded by the stars under the pale moon light
At that moment the earth would stand still
only to reveal what I feel
then the stars would streak across the skies
as you realize
that I want you to be mine
for all time
as we look into the heavens at the constellations
there erupts conversations
on ways I can prove my love
For you I would battle the great Orion above
If your thirsty let me think
I'd steal the Big Dipper just to get you a drink
Oh girl, I'm tryin'
I would run into the night to fight Leo the Lion
and if it were your wish
I use the Little Dipper to catch Pisces the fish
and if somethings weighing on your mind
then Libra I would find
to help balance it out
baby there ain't no doubt
that if it were the only way
I'd take you for a ride along the milky way
just to hear you say that one day
you'll be mine
and I can wine and dine
the most beautiful girl under the sun
am I done?
No I've only just begun
to tell you how I feel
and it kills
me to keep it bottled up inside
cause I've wanted you to know where my heart resides
with you and only you
I don't have a clue
just tell me what I have to do to woo you
would it be to continue our trip around the universe
and you laugh at me because I curse
when I get us lost on our way to the next galaxy
It's no fallacy that I would take you dancing on the rings of Saturn
do you see the pattern
they say that men are from Mars and women are from Venus
I'd move the earth it's self so nothing stand between us
but the night
and nothing would feel more right
Lets wrap it up cause here come the end
point is I want to be your best friend
I'm the kind of guy that would place no one above you
and tells you each day how much he loves you
and sends you flowers just because you bring him joy
this is what a girl can do to a boy
