O WHEN WILL THEY LEARN ?

We poets who write , to publish our poems
on various sites ,
Have also the God -given right ,to safeguard
our works from piracy ;
An obvious fact that we all can see !
And while working towards that end ,
We also have the right to 'copy right' our
works and to defend ,
Which is obvious to all my poet friends !
Therefore when we publish our copyright
works ,
It is only our own created work , -
To publish which is no offence !
And nothing to feel ashamed dear freiends !
There are a dozen other poetry sites ,
Where poems are posted all the while !
Where poets interact freely all the time !
These sites are liberal , encouraging
creativity till the end !
Poemhunter , poetfrek, poetrysoup , museindia ,
coffeeconnection , - are a few of them !
So let us put on our thinking cap ,
After we have had a good sound nap ,
And try not throttle poetry , but express ourselves
freely , -
This is no Nazi Germany , but a free country
for both you and me !
