Pushed

Topic: oops

Torn away broken apart from it all,
lost in a madness they want me to fall.
The edge gets closer with every view,
and now I just wonder how time flew
Walking along the edge of this cliff,
its a wonder how I havent fallen off it
Lost to these cycles of hatred and pain,
demons just shun me theres no one to blame
Trying to make me quit on this path,
theyre waiting to see me jump through the gap
Then laughing theyll mock me and say they were right,
This guy is worthless and cant put up a fight.
Wanting so badly to have it all end,
my pride is the only thing stopping a dead end.
The issues keep showing me what is wrong,
but I cant find the answers for fixing this obsession.

I feel for you as this is a horrible situation to be in.
Although, with this said,I have a feeling you are going to make it,mainly because I believe you are stronger and more determined than you or they realise.
Nicely expressed!!

Blessings
LW

I suppose it's how you see work I suppose. So many people make it the centre of their life and yet it shouldn't be.It should be seen as the means to an end, the vehicle to allow you to do other things like go on holidays or buy the things in life that you want.
Still, I know how you feel, it's frustrating to constantly be told you are doing things wrong.

Steve

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
