I enjoy the attention,
Of being complimented,
Of being mentioned,
But really when it comes to you,
Us together isn't true,
Cause' when I look into your brown eyes,
I wish they were blue
And I love him,
And here I am,
Walking around,
Holding your hand,
I'm sorry for this,
Really I am,
I hold you in my fingers,
But you slip through like sand,
Please forgive me,
I really do mean best,
I know that matters of the heart,
Shouldn't be taken in jest,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
Perhaps we should move on,
Au' revoir, goodbye, so long
