For where is what we sincerely pine? To embrace, to touch, her Heavenly hold The glory and rapture of ardor be thine Wringing passion as when clouds unfold
Her lips, a chalice of loving wine Imploring to drink, and take ones fill Dreams of intentions which intertwine Plucks the hearts essence to a trill
When once again over, when what it is sought That sole of desires, left all but to clasp Earthly hunger through her, He hath wrought Cutting the bones with longings sweet rasp
From such a fancy does this thirst raise Consumption of the charms which set you ablaze
