Spin in silent cyclone
Only paper to answer for
A quiet scratching sneaking
Across a minefield, never recovered
Haunted woods, hallowed ground
Borrowed memories, uncared for
A detachment, crumbling
Only beautiful in death
A heart strain to catch
A reach out, known too late
Reflex across the dashboard
No one in the front seat anymore
Lost history, yellowed pages
Scars no longer so fresh
Laying forgotten, greened over
Staring at the sky
Will it ever be found?
