tic-tock

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

tic-tock the clock , knocks trice,,
time is slipping away,,
looking at yourself,,
feeling useless,,
tic-tock the clock knocks trice,,

holding on to some belief,,
wishing time would slow down,,
hopeing to say the things you didnt,,
still feeling useless,,
tic- tock the clock knocks again,,

not being able to do the things,,
as you did when you were young,,
time has creeped up on you,,
not as stong as before,,
tic-tock there another minute goes by,,

your not useless to me,,
time has caught us all,,
I'm there for you Dad,,
let the clock run,,
I'm there for you,,,

the ones who care,,
are not far away,,
we watch you struggle,,
as time tries to carry you away,,
tic- tock the clock still runs,,

dad befor the clock stops,,
I want to tell you ,,
I do love you,,
I'm your son,,
even if the clock stops,,

craig s. meeks
