this silence is tempting
tempted silence
keeping me awake when it should be letting me sleep
forcing me to live when i should be dead
your voice will shatter it and i will be free
but im not sure i want to be
im kind of comfortable now.
im kind of numb now
i dont have to feel because i know you dont care
you dont have to pretend as if you want to share
feelings
i heard you saying that i should speak a little more
and i heard myself call you a whore
but never to your face
no, never to your face.
its the silence that makes me and you have yet to understand that
its the silence that will break me.
but you already seem to understand that
or do you?
