I know the confusion is over my head When I can't remember the words I just said My mind and body feel like lead Slow to understand what is going on in my head How many times, these tears I've shed And watched the blood I bled Crying for strength, alone in my bed The only strength I know are the words you fed But I don't understand you or the words you said Listening to you is like riding downhill through a blizzard on a sled I want to know what's going on around me Stop clouding my vision so that I can't see You're the source of my confusion, so get away from me After you leave, the blizzard will clear And I can use the reins of the sled to steer You kept me in the dark by using my fear My fear of people and society Once you are gone and away I might be able to live my life my way
