It's very clear
that
there is something there,
I can feel
its presence
all around.
you can't see it
but
you know it's there
watching over you....
When you're down and out
it
shows you someone cares
you are not alone.
When you're feeling pain
it comes in to save
when you can't find your way
it'll be there,
as you feel sanity fade
and you
think no one cares
that's when you'll know it's near.
I can't explain it
no I haven't seen it
but
I know it's there.

| Very well thought out poem. You're obviously a spiritual person of the highest order. Some people call what you're talking about God...others, a higher intellect. Whatever or whoever you're writing about is right on! We've all come to grips with tragedy of one kind or another during the course of our lives and eventually found peace through prayer or meditation on some level. There's someone far more powerful than us who is listening to our desperate voice when we're, sad, sick, broken-hearted...who is it? Hmmm... |
