Note: I wrote this quickly, only to release emotion and thoughts...
I feel like he's staying away
for my sake
as he watches over me
yearning to be the one that I desire
but he's afraid to reopen old wounds
wounds that aren't really there for me
what he really opens are his own
I think he's afraid of healing
and that's what hurts me the worst
and he doesn't even know it
I wish him the best of luck in life
I hope things work out for him
I want him to find someone who he can love
and that will love him whole heartedly
unlike what I could do
I hurt him
and I'm sorry
I wish I could tell him everything in this poem, and more
But when we talk, the words just won't come.
I just wish he would move on to find someone better...

I think many people can tottally relate to this poem either from your side or his side, great job its a really thoughtfull poem
