My dear friend wakeup
To this life so new
Throw your heartache away
and just renew!
Open your eyes
See the new....
No! Not me, it is just you
The pain and suffering you have been through
Fill it with kind love from you.
Those thoughts that torment
and make sure you are not content;
replace with inner peace, love and strength.
Thoughts know no boundaries
They can take you,
They can steal you and break you.
Try hard my friend With love I say,
Fill your thoughts with love..
and peace is yours today.

getting on with life after a setback...maybe a major setback is more difficult for some than it is for others. You've illustrated that brilliantly in this piece. You should be a psychologist. Your poem is therapeutic. I could (and will) read it over and over.
